Customer Challenges
The customer is undertaking a factory equipment upgrade and needs the fanless industrial mini PC for on-site data acquisition. The legacy system lacks rich I/O interfaces to connect multiple machines, sensors, and controllers, resulting in redundant wiring and high maintenance costs. Basic computing power and local storage are required for reliable industrial data collection, even during network interruptions. The device must also deliver 24/7 operation in harsh factory environments and support remote management for factory automation.

Product Solution & Configuration
We deployed the K3-F17H-5005U, a fanless industrial-grade embedded Mini PC with rich I/O ports, ensuring reliable 24/7 on-site data acquisition in harsh factory environments.
Key Configuration:
・ Processor: Intel Core i3-5005U (2 cores, 4 threads, 2.0GHz)
・ Storage: with 2.5-inch HDD expansion bay
・ Networking: 2 x Gigabit Ethernet for dual-network segmentation
・ Connectivity: 2 x RS232, 6 x USB (2x USB2.0 + 4x USB3.0)
・ Display: 2 x HDMI + 1 x VGA, triple independent displays
・ Industrial Features: PXE boot, Auto Power-On, Wake-on-LAN (WOL)
The fanless cooling system and low 15W TDP architecture ensure 24/7 continuous operation across a wide temperature range of -10°C to 60°C.

Project Benefits
