Customer Challenges
Most oilfields already deployed traditional distributed automation facilities including separate PLC controllers, signal converters and low-brightness touch screens, which bring multiple operational pain points:
1. Outdated industrial touch panels only equip limited serial and Ethernet ports, unable to access downhole sensors, variable frequency drives and power quality analyzers simultaneously, requiring extra serial servers and switches for expansion.
2. Conventional displays feature low brightness below 500nits, resulting in invisible data under strong outdoor sunlight during daily field inspection.
3. Legacy industrial HMI adopts Windows OS, prone to crash and data loss under 24/7 non-stop unattended working conditions in oil pumping stations.
4. Existing control terminals only support 220V AC power supply, mismatching the 24V/48V DC power supply of skid-mounted oilfield control cabinets, bringing extra power conversion modules and hidden heat risks.
5. Decentralized collection devices generate isolated data silos, failing to synchronize real-time working parameters to remote SCADA monitoring center and achieve full-cycle production data traceability.

Product Solution & Configuration
We adopt A10/A15 fanless industrial embedded panel PC as the core human-machine & data acquisition hardware for oilfield automation transformation and new oil well construction, realizing integrated on-site monitoring, multi-industrial device interconnection and remote data transmission.
Display & Touch: 10.4-inch /15.6-inch high brightness 1000nits capacitive touch industrial screen, readable under direct outdoor sunlight, stable touch response under complex oilfield working conditions.
Core Hardware: Built-in Intel Core i5 industrial processor, 4GB DDR4 RAM + 64GB industrial SSD, shock-resistant and vibration-proof to adapt harsh outdoor oilfield environment.
Industrial Communication Interfaces: Dual independent RJ45 Gigabit LAN ports, 3 COM serial ports (2×RS485 + 1×RS232), 4 USB 2.0 ports; natively compatible with Modbus RTU industrial communication protocol to seamlessly connect pumping unit controllers, underground pressure/temperature sensors, PLC and power monitoring analyzers.
Power & System: Wide voltage 24V/48V DC direct power input, matching skid-mounted cabinet power architecture; pre-installed customized Linux Ubuntu industrial operating system, optimized for long-time unattended industrial automation data collection tasks.
-
Data Linkage Function: Dual network isolation design, one LAN channel for local on-site equipment data collection, another channel for uploading aggregated production data to central SCADA monitoring system; USB ports support offline data backup via U disk for data double protection.

Project Benefits
1. All-in-one industrial panel PC replaces multiple split legacy automation hardware including separate HMI, serial converters and switches, greatly simplifying internal wiring layout of oil skid-mounted control cabinets and reducing potential fault points.
2. 1000nits high-bright outdoor display completely solves screen reflection trouble, improving the efficiency of on-site patrol and data checking for oilfield staff.
3. Stable Linux industrial system ensures 24/7 uninterrupted data acquisition, eliminating system crash risks of Windows-based legacy HMIs and guaranteeing continuous oil production data recording.
4. Native 24V/48V DC power input removes redundant power conversion modules, saving cabinet installation space and lowering overall heat generation of the control system.
5. Unified multi-source data aggregation and two-way data transmission with SCADA platform realize full life-cycle traceability of oil well operation data, cut manual data export workload, reduce long-term hardware procurement and field maintenance labor costs, and significantly upgrade the overall intelligent automation level of oil pumping stations.
